“Like many others, I enjoy treating myself to a well-prepared seafood dinner, in a semi-elegant setting, with good service. Around these parts however, I have trouble finding a restaurant that encompasses these requirements. Recently, a friend of mine told me about The Grille at Riverview. Adjacent to the historic Riverview Hotel in New Smyrna, it is an inviting place to dine on the intercoastal."
"We've been there several times now since Roby Robertson opened last fall ... for a romantic dinner, for a corporate outing and as well for a number of evenings spent with good friends. Each time the delicious food and warm atmosphere has met with the rave reviews of my guests. The Grille at Riverview offers both inside and outside dining for lunch and dinner daily."
"New Smyrna Beach is home to a number of restaurants noted for their atmosphere or for a single signature dish, but only one area restaurant offers the entire package... superior service in casually elegant surroundings, spectacular sunset views over the river and, Simply Great Food. That restaurant is The Grille at Riverview."
"Staff writer Sandra Frederick and her friend Ric Bush recently visited The Grille at Riverview in New Smyrna Beach for a Monday night dinner. The restaurant offers a charming ambience, tucked alongside the Intracoastal Waterway on Flagler Avenue, she said, and they will be going back again when possible."
"If there's a restaurant location award, The Grille at Riverview in New Smyrna Beach is the clear winner."
"The food, service, ambiance and view at the Grille at Riverview all combine to render one sated and reluctant to leave. Discover it for yourself."
"With the Grille at Riverview, Roby has created a restaurant and lounge that is both casually comfortable and unpretentious, while offering superior service and quality food preparation expected of a fine dining establishment."
"....nothing makes a meal more enjoyable than experiencing the views of dolphins dancing on the water; the sun rising over the ocean, or setting over the river."
"You’re sitting on the outdoor deck of the Grille at Riverview, a wide, sociable terrace spun gracefully out along the water. Boats are tied nearby, their lines tapping, as a flight of pelicans passes overhead. If sitting is something you are good at, there is no better place. Especially when Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna is sitting on the plate in front of you, and a cool Napa Chardonnay is in your glass."
